How to Change Address in Aadhar Card After marriage
Step-1: Click Here to go to SSUP Aadhar Card Update Details Page
Step-2: You will see “Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal” on your screen which will look like this:
Step-3: Enter you Aadhar Number in the box shown on SSUP aadhar card update/correction portal
Step-4: Enter the Text Verification Code
Step-5: Now you will receive an OTP on your phone, enter the OTP to proceed further
Step-6: Once you do that, you will see the following options under the Data Update tab:
- Date of Birth
- Mobile number
Select the Address option as you want to change address in Aadhar card after marriage.
Step-7: Click on Submit Button
Step-8: Now you will be asked to update address in Aadhar card after marriage. Chose the language and submit the request to change address in aadhar card along with your email-id.
Step-9: Next step is to upload the documents of address change proof. For this scan the documents and upload them on the required field.
Step-10: Now comes the very important step i.e. to verify your entered details. You have to be very careful while verifying your details and documents uploaded. In case you find something wrong, you can still go back to correct aadhar card details by clicking the “Edit” button.
Step-11: If all goes well, proceed to next step. Here you have to select BPO service provider of your area.
Step-12: Finally, you will receive “Update Request Complete” message on your screen. Along with this, you will be provided with Update Request Number which you have to keep safe. You will be required to enter this number later.
