How to Check EPF Balance Status Online
Step-1: Click the link given below to jump to EPFO Official Website
Step-2: Following screen will appear to you:
Step-3: Select the PF Office State from the drop down menu
Step-4: The moment you Select State from the PF Office State menu, a complete list of offices available in the EPFo database will display on your screen. Select your EPFO office from this list.
Following details of EPFO office will be displayed:
- Region Name
- Region Code
- Office Code
- Office Name
- Availability of Data
Click on the Office Name belonging to you.
If you don’t know your EPF Office Name, do not worry. You can retrieve it from your EPF Account Number. The first 2 letters of EPF account number is the Region Code and the next 3 digits denotes the Office Code.
For Example, if your Office Name is Bangalore, then Region Code will be “BG” and Office Code will be “BNG”.
Step-5: Member Balance Information form will appear in which you have to enter following details:
- Employee PF Account Number
- Name (as appear in the slip)
Read the Terms & Conditions carefully and click on check box.
Step-6: Finally, click on “Submit” button
